Download the petition below, complete it in full and return it to the Secretary, Charley Ashley. The petition document is a "fillable" pdf that can be completed electronically and returned by email OR in the print form and returned by USPS. If submitting a hard copy by mail, make sure you include a check for the appropriate amount. If submitting an electronic copy, make sure to submit the appropriate dues through the PayPal links below. [Note: To fill the document electronically, you must first download it to your computer. After completing all the information, re-save it with your last name included in the filename. Then email it to the Secretary as an attachment.]

Ohio Lodge of Research Petition

Membership in the Ohio Lodge of Research is open to all Master Masons in good standing and recognized by the Grand Lodge of Ohio. Annual dues are $12.50. A life membership is available by paying a one-time fee of $50 or four payments of $12.50 over consecutive years. You may now pay your new member fees using your existing PayPal account or via PayPal using your credit card. For new memberships, you must still complete and submit the application found at the link above.

Categories of membership are:

Associate - Non-voting, general membership - Must be a Master Mason in good standing of a regular Lodge that is recognized by the Grand Lodge of Ohio. Associate members have full access to the electronic resources available on the website and can hold appointed office..

Active - Voting, elected membership open to Associate members who must present to the Lodge of Research at least one example of independent Masonic research. After the work is presented, the Associate Member must be proposed by an Active Member to be elevated to Active Membership. The Actives vote on all such proposals at the annual meeting of OLR in May.
